Kicked out of the band? Band mates all in rehab? Maybe it’s time to go solo. For our first event of 2025 bring your vinyl tunes related to solo careers or side projects. Or maybe it just has a really good solo? Upstairs from 8pm at The Triangle, Bradford Rd, Shipley from 8pm.
In November 2024 we brought along vinyl that had tracks or artists with single letters somewhere. Among the 50+ tracks played on he night we heard from CSS, T-Rex, Boney M, ABC, S Express and tracks such as Bowie’s “DJ”, Los Bitches’ “FFS” and Randy Newman’s “I Love LA”.
In October 2024 we brought along our vinyl along the theme of dreams and aspirations. Among the artists played were Bob Dylan, CMAT, Kate Bush, Sonic Youth, Jimmy Cliff and Courtney Marie Andrews.
In September we took the law into our own hands with a night of Cops and Robbers themed vinyl. Among the artists we played were The Prodigy, Desmon Dekker, Bridewell Taxis, The Smiths, Supergrass, Thievery Corporation and Julianna Hatfield. Our August event, Gone But Not Forgotten, was an opportunity to play music from artists no longer with us but still cherished.
We had far more questions than answers at Record Club this month. But none of the records anyone played were questionable and another great night at The Triangle was had by all.

7s, 12s, 10s… as long they played at 45rpm on the 4th of the 5th (geddit?) A busy night. Queues at the decks!
We spent a night playing tunes among the deities and the demons but the spirits remained unsummoned.
