Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll – Saturday 2nd December 2023

On Saturday 2nd December we have a triple treat to end 2023 – music along the theme(s) of Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll. All played on vinyl, all night, by you. We’ll start spinning the wheels of steel from 8pm upstairs at The Triangle (47, Bradford Road, Shipley) and wind things down around 11pm, so plenty of time for everyone to play a few tracks. Don’t forget Triangle’s fantastic range of drinks are also available to buy in the bar downstairs. Very good indeed! See you there!

Saltaire Record & Retro Fair – Saturday 21st October 2023

Our final record fair of 2023 is coming up on Saturday 21st October. We’ll be open from 10am to 3.30pm with free entry, loads of stalls to browse and a bar. Why not make a day of it and visit Saltaire village. More details about our fairs and how to find Saltaire are here

Tales of the Unexplained – Saturday 4th February 2023

After taking a break in January we’re back at the Triangle for our first event of 2023 – Tales of the Unexplained.

We could have waited until Hallowe’en to do a spooky night but when you come up with the idea of doing something about monsters, mysteries and mayhem there’s no time like the present.

So get digging into collection for the weirdest, most mysterious, most MONSTROUS vinyl you can find. As ever, we like to play fast and loose with the theme, so don’t get too hung up if you think it doesn’t count. We’d rather hear it than not. We’ll be upstairs at The Triangle, hiding behind the sofa, from 8pm. See you there.

The Literary Connection Saturday 2nd July 2022

This month we explore the connections between music and literature. Paul will be taking the reins and playing, in full, Song of Innocence by David Axelrod, his 1968 debut and with links to William Blake’s collection of poems Songs of Innocence.

He’ll also be playing at least one side of Scritti Politti’s melting pot of politics, linguistics and philosophy Songs to Remember and The (mighty) Fall’s This Nation’s Saving Grace, with its own links to Anthony Burgess and Fritz Leiber.

And in between all those there’ll be space to play your own literary linked choices, so bring some of your own vinyl to play too. Or just come along and have a listen.

We’ll be starting uptairs at The Triangle at 8pm sharp(ish) and putting a brake on the wheels of steel around 11pm. There’s great drinks available downstairs at The Triangle and great company and music upstairs. A proper decent night out. See you there!
