Maybe the best things in life are free? Like the monthly Record Club events we hold on the first Saturday of the month at The Triangle in Shipley. Leaves more money for buying records too! In February 2026 we took on the theme of Money – fiscally challenged tracks and artists. Lambrini Gilrls, Mel & Kim, Tom Waits, Cud, Stone Roses and Abba were among the artists played. Check our instagram and Facebook feeds for what we got up this (& every month).

Back for 2026, our 16th year holding monthly Record Club events in Shipley, West Yorkshire! In January, upstairs at The Triangle as usual, we took a long, hard look at The Media. When does entertainment and information move into influence and disinformation…? Well, unsurprisingly we didn’t necessarily answer those questions but we did enjoy listening to Donna Summer, Kraftwerk, Public Enemy, Rammstein, Psychic TV and everything in between. As ever, check our Instagram and Facebook feeds to see what we got up to.

Our final event of 2026, held as always at The Triangle in Shipley, West Yorkshire, saw us digging into our collections to find farmyard related tracks and artists. We heard some fantastic, ahem, moosic from the likes of The Cramps, John Cale, Young Knives, XTC, Underworld, Goldfrapp and (of course) Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. Want to know what else we played at this and other events? You should look at our Instagram and Facebook feeds.

In November 2025 we let our hair down by choosing tracks and artists with a follicle twist. If you were there you’d have heard tracks fro the likes of Haircut 100, Berck, Cornershop, Shampoo, All About Eve, Syd Barrett and Erykah Badu. Take two records into the shower…?
