This month we are delighted to join the fringe programme of the Shipley Street Arts Festival, celebrating the best in national and regional street performers and musicians. And a massive inflatable whale, apparently. They have a watery theme this year so we couldn’t resist doing the same ourselves.
We’re keeping this one a free play event and we’d like to get as many different 7’s, 12’s and LP tracks played as possible, so plenty of opportunity for you to bring along and play your watery vinyl (sorry – no streaming!). Like last year’s Tour De France theme, these nights bring out all sorts of unexpected choices so we can’t wait to hear what you’ve got.
All the usual shenanigans apply – great music, fine company and a well stocked bar. So, err… “water” you waiting for? “Sea” you on 27th June from 8pm, at the Kirkgate Centre, for whale of a time.
…I’ll get my coat…
